Bring us the problem. We’ll help build the right product.
You bring the problem, domain expertise, and ambition. We bring the product judgment and engineering expertise to turn your idea into a product you can put in customers’ hands.

Building software has never been easier. Building the right product is still hard.
AI has dramatically reduced the time and cost of building a first version. But faster development doesn’t validate demand, clarify what customers need, or prevent investment in the wrong direction.
That’s where experience matters. Since 2008, we’ve incubated more than twenty products—learning what gains traction, what doesn’t, and what it takes to turn a promising idea into a lasting product.
Founders and teams starting something new.
Founders bringing a new product to market
You understand the problem and have a vision. You need an experienced team to shape the product, make the right technical choices, and get it into customers’ hands.
Businesses launching new products
You’re entering a new market, launching a digital offering, or exploring an opportunity beyond your core business. You need to move quickly without compromising the foundations of a lasting product.
What we actually do.
-
01
Define the right product
Build what matters. Leave out what doesn’t.
We work with you to validate assumptions, shape the product strategy, define the MVP, and prioritize features around real customer needs.
-
02
Engineer for the real world
Build an MVP that’s ready to grow.
We handle architecture, design, integrations, data and security, and keep the first version as simple as it can be while still holding up.
-
03
Make AI a deliberate advantage
Build capabilities that set your product apart.
We decide with you whether AI belongs in the product. Where it does, we engineer it as a working part of the application, built into its foundation.
-
04
Build beyond launch
Your first release is the beginning, not the finish line.
We continue evolving the product as customers arrive, requirements change, and new demands emerge around performance, scalability, and compliance.
From the first prototype to the production platform and beyond, the same engineering team carries the product forward—making architectural decisions, building integrations, and evolving capabilities as real users arrive.
Where AI belongs in a new product.
Not every product needs AI. We start with what the product has to do for its users, and add AI only where it makes the product easier to use or capable of more. Where it does, the interface and the capabilities can be designed around it from the beginning.
How we decide
Does it serve the user? Conversational interaction, generated interfaces and agents earn a place when they improve the product, not because they are available.
Is the behavior safe to delegate? Where a result must be exact, repeatable or defensible, we use conventional software engineering.
What we engineer when AI belongs
- Intelligent product experiencesConversational interfaces and generated user experiences that make complex applications easier to build and use.
- Agentic functionalityAgents that plan and coordinate multi-step activities across application capabilities and connected systems. The agent plans; application services carry out the work.
- Production-ready engineeringApplication services, integrations, validation, permissions, and appropriate human oversight that make AI functionality reliable and governable.
Our current engineering work includes conversational UI generation and advanced agent orchestration for a no-code application development platform—technology designed to let users create sophisticated interfaces and coordinate the construction of complex applications through natural language.
AI app builder case study →A production business platform built by Founding Minds and later extended with governed agentic orchestration: full-platform engineering with a disciplined AI architecture.
Agentic finance operations →Adding AI to a product that already exists is a different engagement, with a different starting point.
Application Modernization →Built as an incubator. Still thinking like one.
An incubator is judged by whether its products succeed in the market. A development shop is judged by whether it delivers what was specified. Founding Minds started as a technology incubator in 2008, and that distinction still shapes how we work.
We think beyond features and delivery milestones to the harder questions: Who will use this? Why will they choose it? What needs to be proven before investing further?
About Founding Minds →A product team, not just developers.
You work directly with experienced engineers, architects, and designers who bring product thinking and engineering expertise together.
Product judgment
Clear priorities, sound technical decisions, and the confidence to challenge unnecessary complexity.
End-to-end engineering
Architecture, design, development, integrations, testing, and launch—all within one team.
Iterative delivery
Working software in short cycles, with regular feedback and direct visibility into progress.
Long-term continuity
A team that stays involved as your product evolves, scales, and reaches new customers.
You work directly with the engineers and designers building the product, in the same conversations where scope and trade-offs are decided.
Explore How We Work →When we’re not the right fit.
If you need short-term staff augmentation or straightforward implementation against a fully defined specification, a simpler engagement may serve you better.
We’re at our best when the product needs more than execution—when thoughtful product decisions, engineering discipline, and a long-term technical partner can make a meaningful difference.
Start with a Founding Sprint.
Two weeks. $5,000.
Before committing to development, get clarity on what to build, what to leave out, and what it will take to launch.
- Interactive prototype — A clickable demonstration of the product’s core user journeys, designed to gather feedback from potential users and stakeholders.
- Defined MVP scope — What goes into version one, and what doesn’t.
- Technical roadmap — A recommended technical approach, indicative development timeline, and estimated build cost, with key assumptions and dependencies identified.
- Honest recommendation — Whether to proceed, refine the idea, or reconsider the investment.
The Sprint is recommended but not required, and it does not include production software development. If you decide to move forward, our product engineering team can take the MVP from concept to launch.
